Previously on the Cybermole Project: SGMBert yelled at the prisoners, Nurse Karen stewed in solitary, challenges were failed badly, the snitch was introduced, and our first real execution took place.

This time it’s not a twist – Nurse Karen is the first prisoner to be released. Normally this would be a good thing, but not when money is at stake. The remaining prisoners grieve Nurse Karen’s departure, although some do admit relief that it wasn’t them. And Student Karen is glad she can be known only as Karen now. MaryLee confesses that she is pissed Michael didn’t put Tiffany up for release instead.

After a good night’s sleep, the seven prisoners reconvene on day 7. SGMBert straightens the prisoners up by telling them to suck it up and forget the departed… besides, it’s time for another challenge. It will be some type of truth or dare game, and each prisoner must select “truth” or “dare” for the others. Everyone must participate or money will be lost. The prisoners moan and complain about doing the challenge, which prompts Michael to rant about that as well as Becki’s comments about Michael’s selections as the snitch in the previous episode. The challenge begins with the truth or dare assignments. Karen goes first with truth… she must tell who her top 3 suspects listed on her interview were for last episode. She responds with Brian, Becki, and Michael. Next up is truth for Michael, who must list his 4-6 suspects on the same interview. He responds with Tiffany, Matt, and Karen. Meanwhile, ML offers to share personal information with other prisoners to help on the iquiz. Most are pretty hesitant to divulge the info.

The challenge continues into day 8, and now it’s ML’s turn to take a dare – share the private cell with Matt for the entire episode. OK, no problem, she says. Lucky Brian has to do two because his votes were split – for his dare, he must take an additional confessional per episode. For his truth, he must reveal his favorite player as listed in episode 2. He accepts both, saying that Becki was his fave rave. And speaking of Becki, she’s up next with a fun little dare – be the snitch this episode. She accepts, while making it clear she doesn’t want to. Tiffany is next, and like Brian she gets two – her truth is to tell everyone the gender she put on her iquiz; her dare is to nominate Matt to for release if/when she is the snitch. Tiffany takes a while to respond, prompting ML to get all upset. She finally does show, and after defending herself reveals her answer (female) but refuses to take her dare. Oh, snap! There goes the $7 pot for the first round.

Matt is last to go, and if he does not complete his truth/dare, $2 is removed from the pot. His deal is truth, and he must tell his most and least suspected prisoners from last round in no particular order. He accepts and says ML and Brian. But the $7 is still lost because Tiffany refused her dare, and Becki is none too happy about that – “I waited all night and you don't do your dare???? WTF is that?” In their confessionals, the other prisoners express their displeasure with Tiffany’s decision.

There’s one more round of truth or dare, as all are posted at one time. Matt’s got two – tell everyone what state he lives in, and if he ever goes to solitary require that Tiffany go in his place. He quickly tells that he lives in California, but balks at the dare until he knows more about solitary. That’s the sort of thing that lands you in solitary, bub. ML’s dare is to exchange books with Tiffany in the next challenge, which she refuses. Becki then refuses both her truth and her dare, as this challenge (and the team) is quickly falling to pieces. Matt then refuses his dare. Karen takes her truth and reveals she was in the private cell in episode 2. Much complaining about the challenge continues… bunch of freakin’ babies.

Brian bellies up to the bar and accepts his dare of not using any person’s name for the rest of the episode. Tiffany accepts her truth and her dare this time, but the damage has already been done as not only was no money won for this challenge, but previously earned money is taken from the pot. The work of the cybermole perhaps? Michael finally refuses his dare, and the challenge is over to the relief of the prisoners. Maybe it’s just me, but this challenge seemed like a lot of fun… don’t understand all the whining. Day nine proved to be the most interesting day of the project… so far.

Day 10 begins with a new challenge. Each prisoner must select a book from a pile of three almanacs, two atlases, and two arithmetic books. The players quickly select – Brian and Matt take the atlases; MaryLee, Michael, and Karen take the almanacs, and Becki takes a math book, leaving the remaining math book for Tiffany and setting up my favorite quote so far. Tiffany: “I'll take arithmetic...it's the least I could do for refusing my dare.” Becki: “Jeez, I don’t think you had a choice there.” I want to go on the record as saying Becki is my favorite player. Meanwhile, best friends Matt and MaryLee enjoy their private cell – meaning they don’t try to choke each other out. Yet.

The almanac crew gets to work, having five difficult questions to answer. They all work feverishly on finding the answers. The atlas crew gets two very difficult puzzles to solve involving a lot of capital letters. Both teams’ answers will be numerical, and they will pass the numbers on to the math group for their portion of the challenge. If they ever solve them, that is.

Day 11 rolls around with the atlas and almanac crews still working away. The almanac group spends $1 to buy a clue, which is simply “I see a campus code.” Not much help there, although Michael stumbles across a Kryptos code in relation to one of their questions which leads to an answer. MaryLee sends SGMBert a message to close the private cell as she has had her fill of Matt. Er, nothing has happened between those two since the start of the game… what gives? Over with the atlas crew, they also buy a $1 hint. Brian comes up with an answer and it is sent to the math group. The almanac group keeps working into day 12, as time is running short on this challenge. Or at least they think so, until ML says the board says challenge isn’t due until tomorrow. Looks like she was wrong, as time expires according to the person who matters, SGMBert. So the math group never got to start their portion of the challenge, and no money is won.

As Becki tries to decide who to put up for release as the snitch, the prisoners say their good-byes in the main cell. Finally, Becki’s decision is announced: she has put up Karen, Matt, Michael, and Tiffany for release. The iquizzes are in, and all that is left to do is await the next release.
